Heightened risk at Conakry

The Japan P&I Club highly recommends that all vessels calling at Conakry if not berthing on arrival (after tendering NOR), that they go out to open sea, remain cautious and await an available berth. This is because of reported violent robberies taking place. They also recommend checking the latest information at the time of arrival.
