Logistics Update Ghana
Sunday 8th April 2018
This month OMA Logistics Ghana launched the OMA Regional Shuttle.
Operating three days a week, the service is exclusively for OMA clients with Airfreight and/or LCL cargoes arriving from Kotoka airport and Tema port.
The service will ensure an efficient and punctual transfer and delivery of cargo moving between Tema/Accra/Takoradi and Tarwa/Obuasi.
Whilst the distance is not huge by some standards (228 kilometers from Accra to Takoradi and 251 kms from Tema) the average journey time by road is 5.5 hours. The OMA Regional Shuttle, as an owned and operated service, is already reaping benefits for customers by cutting down delays for time critical shipments.
